Position Summary:
The OHI Developer will play a critical role in RIA Advisory’s Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) practice by delivering tailored technical solutions that support the digital transformation of health insurance operations. This position involves developing and integrating with OHI applications, leveraging Groovy programming to implement business logic, and utilizing Oracle Insurance Gateway (OIG) to facilitate seamless data migration and integration processes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in integration with a collaborative mindset to partner with cross-functional teams, address client needs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. By driving technical innovation and maintaining robust system performance, the developer will contribute significantly to the success of projects and the achievement of organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and maintain solutions using the Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) platform.
- Design and implement integration between OHI and customer systems using Oracle Integration Gateway or similar technologies.
- Create and maintain Groovy scripts for custom business logic and automation within the product.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather and understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and integration issues to reduce disruption and maintain data integrity.
- Optimize OHI integration performance for scalability and efficiency.
- Support data migration processes as part of integration activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
- Prepare and update technical documentation for integration workflows, solution designs, and customizations.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards and adhere to best practices.
- Provide maintenance and support for OHI solutions and integration processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience is also accepted.
- Experience in Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) or relevant expertise is considered beneficial.
- Proficiency in Groovy scripting, with experience in developing and troubleshooting scripts for enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of integration principles and middleware technologies.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts and Agile methodologies.
Skills and Experience required:
Required:
- 5+ years in development roles
- Proficient in Groovy for customization and automation
- Skilled in integration, data migration, and best practices
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience with Oracle Integration Gateway or similar technologies
- Familiar with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and data transformation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Health Insurance (OHI) modules and functionalities.
- Experience in working in the insurance or health insurance industry
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools like Git.
- Exposure to cloud-based integration platforms.
