Title: Senior Project Manager
Experience: 12 to 18 years
Qualification: Relevant degree from a reputed University
Location: Pune
Technical Know How- Advanced level of MS Excel skills, Knowledge in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Manage the project lifecycle starting from initiation phase to production support.
• Offshore Project Manager for large US based Oracle utilities product implementations (CCB/C2M).
• Work closely with onsite project Manager around project governance and tracking, working with global teams
• Understand project budgets, timelines, sow, and exposure of directly dealing with clients
• Manage budgeting, forecasting of resources and burn rate based on project plan, resource allocations, accruals and report to delivery leadership.
• Handle small to medium size projects, people management experience.
• Should be able to lead the presentations, prepare reports for clients. Manage deadlines and milestones/client expectations
• Hands on with MS power point to present weekly charts and status reports to leadership.
• Work with client stake holders for devising phase wise project plan, hardware and software requirements, organizing requirement and fit gap sessions.
• Work with solution architects & technical architects to understand the overall landscape and bring in the client architects to meet integration requirements as per NFR SLAs.
• Should be able to track the project in Agile way plus able to provide project level repots to external stakeholders.
• Hands on Knowledge of Agile, SAFE scrum methodologies and own end to end delivery of the project releases.
• Working knowledge of project development tools like Rally, JIRA, Confluence and GIT, also be able to create Gantt chart and present to client.
• Work with client representatives to bring in change control process and keep the budgets in range.
• Should be able to handle single or multiple teams for single project delivery
• Conduct multiple calls with various teams during the day to follow up on tasks and manage risk.
• Must be able to communicate clearly between teams in various geographies (mostly US and UK based).
• Should be able to create detailed, phase wise Project plans, negotiate with clients for IJAT timelines, releases
• Support UAT, plan and deliver demo sessions to clients
• Understands the severity of issues and is able to address it in time.
• Well versed with risk management, scope & change management.
• Past experience must include understanding of technology used, knows end to end cycle of the project, integrated systems, guidance to client on strategy to deploy what’s need in time.
Requirements & Experience:
Candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Knowledge of enterprise systems architecture including deployment methods.
• Must have worked on at least 2 end to end projects from initiation to production phase.
• Willingness to coordinate with members in various geographies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface with clients.
• Must have worked on at least 1 Billing product project implementation.
• Know-how of how Oracle product support works.
